Touge (峠) means mountain pass. In Japan, it means something else too.

Before circuits were accessible, before track days were a weekend calendar item, the mountain passes were where driving culture happened. Where you learned a car by feel — what it did under trail-braking, where the rear stepped out, how much speed you could carry through a blind apex before it asked more of you than you had to give. No run-off. No second chances. Just the road, the car, and however good you actually were.

The cars in this collection belong to that tradition. Not as aesthetics borrowed from a film or a video game — as objects that carry real weight in the culture they came from. The S30. The AE86.
