The Car Guy Gift Guide 2026: What to Get the Guy Who Already Has the Car
Share
Every December somebody types gifts for car guys into a search bar and ends up with a keyring, a novelty mug, or a tool he already owns. The problem is not that car guys are hard to buy for. It is that most gift guides treat "car guy" as one person. He is not. The man who spends Sunday mornings under an air-cooled flat-six and the one who has a 2JZ build thread longer than most novels want very different things in a box.
So this guide is sorted by the person, not the product. Find the one who sounds like him, pick from his list, and stop worrying. Seventeen picks, every one under $70, every one printed to order in the US, and every one here by Christmas if you order by December 11.
The hot hatch guy
He thinks the best car ever made is a small three-door with a slightly bigger engine than it should have. He is probably right. He will own one for the rest of his life, and he will tell you the chassis code before he tells you the colour.

If you have no idea what he drives
Two safe bets that work for almost everyone: the Car Guy Tee, which says exactly what it is, and the Embroidered Beanie, the stocking filler he will wear every morning until March. More small ideas in stocking stuffers under $40.
If you are guessing his size
Our tees run true to size on a modern unisex cut; if he wears a medium in most brands, order a medium. If he likes a relaxed fit, go one size up. The organic raglan hoodies (Pocket Rocket, Save the Manuals, Chassis Series) run about one size trimmer than a classic heavyweight hoodie, so size up for a comfy fit. Every product page has the flat measurements, and if you reply to any of our emails with his usual brand and size we will tell you what to order.
Order by December 11 to be safe. Two tees, or any hoodie, ship free.
Questions people ask us every December
What do you get a car guy who has everything?
Something he would not buy himself: a shirt about the specific car he loves, drawn well, with no badge on it. Most car apparel is either a logo or a joke. The gap in the middle is where good gifts live.
Are these official merchandise?
No, and that is the point. Every Marque design is an independent, original illustration. There are no manufacturer logos or model names on the shirts, which is why he can wear them to dinner as well as to a meet.
What if the size is wrong?
Every product page lists flat measurements, so check them against a shirt he already owns. Not sure? Reply to any of our emails with his usual brand and size before you order and we’ll tell you what to get.
Will it arrive by Christmas?
Order by December 11 for standard US delivery by Christmas. After that, an e-gift card is the honest answer.
